12/21/2012 Chance of human survival.?
I was watching the history channel with their apocalypse marathon majorly featuring 2012. A question popped in my head that I wanted everyones opinion on. When we leave the astrological phase we are currently in and move onto the next, scientists say that horrific events will happen including the great lakes flowing down the mississippi. East and West coast snapping off. etc. According to Darwin, species evolve only when they need to, to better adapt for survival. They say that all the phases of the human were taken place when the astrological calender jumped. Judging by the fact that every time we have evoloved we have become more inteligent, what do you think will happen? Is human kind smart enough to now survive such a horrible event? The fact that we can talk from china to america with an instant message faster than a snap of fingers help? Or are we hopelessly lost to mother nature? Or are we still not as intelligent as we will be as a species? It’s foolish to say if this day will truely bring turmoil or not, but I wonder what would happen if…
It’s hard to enjoy life in med school lol.
::slaps forehead:: yes dates are man made but that is the date it falls on. The day that earth is most likely to change its axis by a few degrees.

and yep i think we will make it. all that scary stuff is there to make you give up. it is nothing less then a death wish – a spirit breaker – don’t watch it.
